Freedom Campfire Steak
Here is the secret – famous steak houses use grills with a temperature of 800° F or more, much hotter than a standard backyard barbecue. Your Freedom Campfire Ring can easily achieve this cooking temperature and deliver the best tasting mouth watering campfire steak you have ever had!
Here’s how…
Prepare a low
fire for cooking.
While waiting for the fire to burn
down, get your steaks ready with salt, pepper, garlic, and other
spices. Avoid heavy marinades that contain sugar, as the high heat
of a real campfire will burn the marinade.
Once the fire has burned down to
almost no flame, spread out and level the coals. Then, place the
grill rack on the container and let it warm up.
Once the grill is warm, place the
steaks on the grill and sear each side for a minute or so. This
is the secret to the great taste of campfire steaks! After searing,
cook the meat to your preferred temperature, but be aware that
the high heat of the coals will result in faster cooking -- so
keep an eye on the meat!
Once the steaks are cooked to your
liking, take them off the grill.
Remember that you can now add more
wood to get your campfire roaring -- while you sit back and enjoy
your Freedom Campfire Steak dinner!
